God's own anti-son-of-a-bitch machine. It shoots the 7.62x39mm round of the AK-47, but is technologically built around the 5.45x39mm AK-74. The weapon is substantially more accurate than the 47, being effective to around 500 yards. It has the muzzle break of the AK-74, reducing recoil, and a fire rate of 600R.P.M. As with all AK's, be careful where you get your ammunition and your gun from, because of the wide variety of quality between makers.
