A small town, known locally as a village, in North East Derbyshire.
Nestled at junctin 28 of the M1, Pinxton has way too many warehouses and small factories, with an unusually high number of
lorries and white vans
careering along its roads.
Locals are tribal in nature, as is common in locations with a large ex-coal mining community. Many of its members being inter-related, outsiders are not welcome.
A high proportion of chavs reside in the social housing estate, surrounded by private housing where chavs have managed to marry in an advantageous
upwardly mobile manner.
Pinxton is regarded outside of the town as a undesirable place to live, where jokes are made about in-breeding and the lack of wheels left on cars if parked overnight
