The term
wonka is a term derived from the 1964 novel Willy
Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. The word has been taken out of context to describe the black race, hence calling them
wonka's, as in chocolate. Its degree of offensiveness has increased markedly in recent years. Definitions 1a, 1b, and 2 represent meanings that are deeply disparaging and are used when the speaker deliberately wishes to cause great offense.
The word itself has become increasingly popular amongst the youth of today.
Wonka as the derogatory term was used in J.
Flo's 2009 Album "On Da F-Block With My
Wonkas".
