The Great Prophet
Zarquon was a galactic prophet from ancient times, and was thought to be revered throughout the galaxy. He had scores of followers and disciples who waited diligently for an event they called "The Second Coming of the Great Prophet Zarquon". Unfortunately
the prophet's lack of punctuality caused this event to happen only merely a few brief seconds before the end of the Universe itself, during which time he was able to utter only the words "Sorry I'm late..." before the universe ended. From the Douglas Adams novel "
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe."
More recently, modern Galactic races use the name Zarquon as a curse word.
